Farabi Hospital Yas Ward
We, the staff of the Yas Ward at Farabi Hospital, would like to extend a warm welcome to you. We are committed to providing you with the best possible healthcare services in the areas of diagnosis, treatment, and care, in the shortest possible time and with the highest level of satisfaction. This ward consists of 7 rooms and 20 active beds. The changing room is located in room 5. The ward's bathroom (toilet, Iranian toilet, and shower) is located at the end of the main corridor on the right. The prayer room is located outside the ward, opposite the ward entrance. The Yas Ward is open from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and the ward charge nurse is available from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM and the shift supervisors are available from 2:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Female nurses in this ward wear a full navy blue uniform, male nurses wear a white uniform, orderlies wear a full white uniform, nurse's aides wear a full cream uniform, the ward clerk wears a black uniform, and the service staff wear gray and dark blue uniforms.
Important Safety and Hygiene Tips for Patients:
* Upon admission of your patient, our nursing staff will explain hygiene precautions, hand washing, the Patient's Bill of Rights, points related to the identification bracelet (which identifies the patient), and visiting hours.
* The emergency exit route is marked with green signs and is located at the end of the main corridor.
* If you need a wheelchair or a bedside step to get in and out of bed, our staff will guide you in obtaining it.
* A nurse call button is installed above the bed. If you need assistance, press the button and our nursing staff will come to the patient's bedside to help you.
* For patient safety, make sure the safety rail is up when resting in bed. If you need assistance in the bathroom, pull down the emergency call handle.
* Dear patients, please bring your own personal and hygiene items such as (clean face mask, hand sanitizer, cup, spoon and fork, paper towels, thermos for tea, etc.).
* When wearing the operating room gown, make sure the front is closed and change the operating room slippers in the operating room.
* Have a healthy, sane, adult, and preferably same-sex companion upon entering the ward.
* Refrain from bringing watches, gold, jewelry, and valuables to the hospital. Women should not wear makeup or nail polish and should not have dentures before entering the operating room.
* Patients under the age of 18 and patients with mental and intellectual disabilities must have the consent of a guardian or legal representative for surgery.
* Before admission, if the patient has a physical disability, mental problem, or underlying or special disease, please inform the ward nurse.
* Household waste should be disposed of in the blue bin and hospital waste (contaminated with patient secretions, clothing, and bracelets) in the yellow bin.
* Please refrain from smoking due to the inconvenience and air pollution it causes, as well as the risk of fire.
