Mission
* Oversee the planning and implementation of educational activities in the departments
* Monitor the attendance and quality of activities of faculty members in the hospital
* Monitor the proper implementation of educational regulations and professional conduct principles in the hospital
* Collaborate with the university's faculty and vice dean of education in evaluating the activities of the department and faculty members
* Develop and support plans for the development of education in the hospital
* Cooperate in the distribution and introduction of trainees to the hospital's educational departments in coordination with the educational vice deans of the faculties and the directors of the educational groups based on the capacity of the hospital's educational departments
* Monitor the evaluation of trainees and announce their grades and announce the start of the course and certificate of completion of the course for fellows and assistants to the Faculty of Medicine when necessary
* Prepare reports on the hospital's educational activities for higher authorities
* Plan and supervise the theoretical and practical education of medical students in various departments, especially with an emphasis on practical work in general and emergency eye care, during the one-month introduction courses offered by the Faculty of Medicine
* Perform other duties assigned by the hospital president
