Clinic Hours: The Cornea Clinic is open from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday.

How to Schedule an Appointment
To schedule your first appointment:
* Call: 00982155423070
* Visit the hospital website at tums.drmyco.net/
Once you have scheduled an appointment, please bring your ID card, insurance card, and ATM card to the Central Admissions Office located in the hospital courtyard.
* After checking in with Central Admissions and receiving your blue treatment card (card 50) and payment slip from room 56 (cashier), proceed to the Cornea Clinic.
* Give the blue treatment card (card 50) and payment slip to the clinic receptionist.
* Patients who are referred to this clinic from other clinics for consultation and examination should bring their blue treatment card to the receptionist of clinic 31 to schedule an appointment. (Please note that the stamp and signature of the referring physician are required on the back of the treatment card.) The examination date will be recorded on the examination card and in the clinic's system.
To schedule an appointment for returning patients:
* Please note that returning patients who have previously scheduled an appointment will receive a number from the paging system upon arrival at the clinic and wait for their number to be announced.
After your visit:
* After your visit and completion of all examination procedures, please see the receptionist to schedule your next appointment before leaving the clinic. Your next appointment will be recorded in the clinic's system and on your examination card.
* If it is not possible to schedule your next appointment, you will be given the clinic's direct phone number.
* If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment for any reason, please call the clinic directly to reschedule (we cannot accept walk-in patients).
* Before leaving the clinic, please check your contact information with the receptionist and make any necessary corrections to the Central Admissions Office so that you can be notified by phone if your appointment date changes.
Examination procedures require multiple steps, so we appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Cornea Clinic Examinations Include:
* Optometry or vision testing
* Examination by a resident ophthalmologist
* Examination by an attending physician or fellowship
Steps for Corneal Imaging
* Physician's request (stamped by a specialist physician at this hospital)
* Report to the cornea secretaries
* Registration and issuance of receipt
* Referral to the corneal imaging room
Workflow
* Upon entering the clinic, the patient is sent to the optometry section by the receptionist (some adult patients may require an escort, depending on their circumstances, and one escort is sufficient for pediatric patients, preferably the mother).
* If you wear glasses, please bring them with you for vision testing and examination.
* After vision testing, the patient is referred by the nurse to a resident ophthalmologist and then to an attending physician or fellowship.
* After examination by the resident or fellowship, if necessary, the patient is referred to the clinic nurse to have drops instilled for further examination.
* Some time after the drops are instilled, the patient is re-examined, and a decision is made by the attending physician.
* Please note that the drops instilled in the eye may cause blurred vision for 5 to 6 hours, so it is advisable to avoid driving or any activities that require close attention during this time.
Surgical Procedure Scheduling
* After completing all examination procedures, if surgery is necessary, a surgery date will be given. The informed consent form must be completed by the patient and a companion. If the patient is under 18 years of age or has a mental disability, the consent form must be completed by the patient's father or legal guardian. Signature and fingerprint are required on the form.
* The patient will be given instructions for preoperative preparations (blood tests, lens echo, cardiac and anesthesia consultation, etc.) and a guide sheet.
* Finally, the patient will be referred to Central Admissions to schedule surgery and complete the file.
