The clinic is located on the first floor of the old hospital building. The LASIK Clinic consists of two refractive error surgery clinics, a keratoconus (corneal curvature) clinic, an imaging room, and a refraction room. The LASIK department is equipped with advanced facilities and equipment and has a team of experienced physicians and nurses. The LASIK department of Farabi Hospital is a semi-private department and all surgeries in this department are performed by the hospital's professors and specialists. This department is purely therapeutic and no educational activities are carried out in this department.

 

 * Ultrasound pachymetry: A device that uses ultrasound to show the exact thickness of the cornea.

 * Tear Lab: A device that analyzes and interprets the tear layer of the eye with high precision using an electronic processor by examining the osmolarity of tears.

 * Itrace: A device that uses an advanced method to determine the high-order aberrations of the tear film of the eye. In addition to interpreting these aberrations, it also displays the power and curvature of the cornea. And finally, it interprets the quality of the patient's vision.

 * Topography: A device that displays a color-coded and numerical map of the surface of the patient's anterior cornea and interprets the power and curvature of different parts of the cornea.

 * Orbscan: A device that takes an image of the anterior and posterior surfaces of the cornea and displays them as color-coded and numerical maps. In addition to the power and curvature of the cornea, it also shows the thickness of the cornea and all very minor bumps and depressions of the cornea.

 * Aberrometry: A device that, in addition to accurately determining refractive errors of the eye, also determines high-order optical errors of the eye (aberrations). It can also be connected to a refractive error laser surgery device.

 * Pentacam: A device that takes an image of the cornea and contact lens with the most advanced camera and shows all information about the power, curvature, bumps, depressions, thickness of the cornea, thickness of the lens, angles between the cornea and iris, corneal opacity, lens opacity, and...

 * ORA: A device that provides biomechanical properties of the cornea such as strength, resistance, and the most accurate intraocular pressure based on corneal thickness. This test is non-contact.

 * The cost of examinations for refractive surgery (glasses removal) is approximately 650,000 tomans and the cost of glasses removal surgery is 14 million tomans if the femto device is used and 8 million and 600,000 tomans if PRK or LASIK surgery is performed.

 * Pre-operative examinations are performed in the morning from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM and in the afternoon from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Please inform the reception desk of your presence in the first hour of each shift.

 * It is mandatory to bring the patient's national ID card and bank card.

 * If you use soft lenses, it must be 10 days and for hard lenses 20 days since the last time you used them.

 * The Refractive Error Department (LASIK Department) does not have a contract with any insurance company and only upon your request, documents for supplementary insurance can be done on the day of lens removal and in the presence of the patient and presentation of the national ID card.

 * Dear ladies, do not be breastfeeding or pregnant and at least 3 months have passed since breastfeeding.
